- Scope-Before
we undergo any installation project, the owner's/builder's needs
must be determined based upon the type of sprinkler head desired
and the available water supply. Once this has been determined we
can begin the following steps:
- Design-
A complete layout of sprinkler heads and pipe placement are drawn
out on a floor plan, mapping out the entire system within the structure.
This is done by our on site design team, then submitted to the local
AHJ's (authorities having jurisdiction) for approval.
- Installation-Installation
can begin upon the completion of other mechanical trades, ie: plumbing,
HVAC & electrical have been roughed in. Then our certified crews
will come in and install all piping and sprinkler heads per plan.
- Hydro
Inspection-Every piping system must undergo a test in
which the pipes are filled with water and pressure tested at 200
PSI for 2 hours, pass inspection and be approved by the local AHJ's.
- Setting
Finish Trim-After all painting has been completed, the
crew will come in and do the finishing trim work to the sprinkler
heads in preparation for the final inspection.
- Final
Inspection-Upon completion of the above steps a final
inspection with the local AHJ's will be scheduled. A flow test
will be conducted to establish design criteria has been met and
in conjunction an alarm test will be performed checking for the
proper alarm requirements.
