Scope-Before we undergo any installation project, the owner's/builder's needs must be determined based upon the type of sprinkler head desired and the available water supply. Once this has been determined we can begin the following steps: Design- A complete layout of sprinkler heads and pipe placement are drawn out on a floor plan, mapping out the entire system within the structure. This is done by our on site design team, then submitted to the local AHJ's (authorities having jurisdiction) for approval. Installation-Installation can begin upon the completion of other mechanical trades, ie: plumbing, HVAC & electrical have been roughed in. Then our certified crews will come in and install all piping and sprinkler heads per plan. Hydro Inspection-Every piping system must undergo a test in which the pipes are filled with water and pressure tested at 200 PSI for 2 hours, pass inspection and be approved by the local AHJ's. Setting Finish Trim-After all painting has been completed, the crew will come in and do the finishing trim work to the sprinkler heads in preparation for the final inspection. Final Inspection-Upon completion of the above steps a final inspection with the local AHJ's will be scheduled. A flow test will be conducted to establish design criteria has been met and in conjunction an alarm test will be performed checking for the proper alarm requirements.
